A propos de l'article
Coming from the purest Berber tradition, the Sahrawi carpet is a work from the southern region of Morocco. Made by the nomadic tribes of the Moroccan desert, this Berber carpet is woven using locally produced wool. The traditional colors are generally black, ecru, more or less golden.
Recognizable among thousands, the characteristic patterns also make these typical Berber rugs so rich.
Coming from villages nestled in deserted enclaves, Moroccan weavers have developed a thousand-year-old and typical know-how, far from the inspirations of the usual Arab carpets. Their incomparable comfort is offered by a very high quality raw material, 100% undyed virgin wool. Short-pile or long-pile, the thickest carpets can reach 3 centimeters thick for incomparable comfort and warmth. Arriving in Western interiors at the end of the twentieth century, these carpets have earned themselves the place of choice that is theirs due to their qualities on a large number of aspects.
